CANANDAIGUA – Thompson Health’s Spirit of Women program is hosting a fun-filled event of shopping, humor and health called “Spirit Girls’ Night Out – An Enchanting Affair” to inspire women to take time out for themselves and to share the vibrancy of good health.  

Set for Saturday, Oct. 26, Spirit Girls’ Night Out will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Ferris Hills at West Lake, 1 Ferris Hills, Canandaigua.

Free valet parking will be available at the event, which will include health and wellness information, vendors, appetizers and a cash bar. Free chair massages, acupuncture, Reiki and more will be offered. Vendors include the The Country Ewe, Adorn Jewelry and Accessories, Guild Gallery Gift Shop, Park West Salon & Spa, A Kiss on the Wrist, Next Level Coaching, PartyLite Candles and Body by Vi. Each vendor has generously donated a door prize for the end-of-the-evening drawing. All participants are eligible to win drawing prizes, including a $50 Visa gift card.

Speakers include former Thompson Health President/CEO Linda Farchione Hawks, certified holistic stress management instructor Jennifer Klein, and Wendy Mulholland, director of Diagnostic Imaging for Thompson Health in Canandaigua. Speakers’ topics will include “It’s a Woman’s World,” “De-Stressing Your Life,” “Managing Menopause” and “Breast Health Q&A/New Women’s Health Center.”

 “‘Spirit Girls’ Night Out’ allows women to come together for an evening of fun and entertainment where they will also be able to learn information that will empower them to make healthy choices for themselves and their families,” says Jeanna Savage, Director of Spirit of Women at Thompson Health. 

The cost of the event is $10 for Spirit members and $15 for non-members. Spirit of Women members will receive a free drink token.

Spirit Girls’ Night Out is now in its eighth year, with more than 75 hospitals nationwide working to inspire and empower women. The event is sponsored by the Spirit of Women with additional support from Good Housekeeping Magazine.
