CANANDAIGUA – A $45,000 KeyBank Foundation grant awarded to Thompson Health is funding a workforce development initiative within the health system.
Distributed over three years, the gift will cover the cost of three training initiatives:
“The training programs we’ll be able to initiate, thanks to this funding, will have a profound effect as we strive to improve our service each and every day,” says Thompson Health System Educator Carol Olean.
“Economic self-sufficiency is the cornerstone of our philanthropic giving. Not only does Thompson Health’s workforce development initiative provide hospital employees with the opportunity to advance their careers and earn a greater income, it will also improve the quality of Thompson Health’s services,” said James Barger, president, Rochester Market, KeyBank. “We are pleased to support this exceptional program.”
