Held June 5 at Victor Hills Golf Course in Victor, this year’s Pink Fly attracted more than 140 participants – the largest turnout to date. The winning foursome, with a score of 67, was comprised of Kaitlin Corcoran, Mary Ellen Weber, Karen Tuccio and Jean Elm. Chris Brewer was the “Closest to the Pin” winner and Robyn Roberts was the “Longest Drive” winner.
Committee Chairwoman Nancy Alexander would like to thank fellow committee members Deb Whalen, Jennifer Haney and Zoe Haubert for their hard work and dedication, as well as the many volunteers and contributors who made the event successful. “The Pink Fly was created by ladies with a drive to combine golf, fun and friends. We are proud to continue our association with the Sands Cancer Center to take our passion one step further – to help defeat breast cancer,” Alexander says.
