On Saturday, June 4, over 150 Pink Fly Ladies converged at Victor Hills Golf Course to raise money for the Breast Health Patient Navigation Program at UR Medicine’s Thompson Health. This program provides support and service coordination for those diagnosed with breast cancer.Tournament organizer Nancy Alexander said, “This tournament is a success because of the passion and dedication of the Pink Fly women who want to help those with breast cancer. Many are breast cancer survivors themselves.”This event, created by ladies with a drive to combine golf, fun and friends, raised over $15,000 this year and has raised more than $80,000 since its beginning in 2003.
