Please note that the Clinic is not a substitute for a relationship with a primary care physician.
In order to ensure appropriate care, some examples of what we can not treat at the Clinic are: conditions requiring an x-ray or laboratory work, no controlled substances will be prescribed for any condition, no medications will be dispensed or administered, no prescriptions for mental health conditions, work-related injury or illness, care for children less than 2 years old or prenatal care.
The Thompson Clinic provides short-term care for those who find themselves with nowhere else to turn for medical care. Patients needing ongoing care or care not provided at the Clinic will be referred to a CCIA/Catholic Charities caseworker.
