Thompson Health Thompson Health is an integrated health care delivery system founded in 1904 by Mary Clark Thompson and dedicated to the memory of her husband, Fredrick. Highland Hospital Highland Hospital, an affiliate of the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), is a high-quality hospital with a patient-centered culture of care. Highland Hospital oncology services are part of the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at URMC, which provides outstanding care for people with cancer by combining a multi-disciplinary team approach with the latest technologies and most effective therapies in a compassionate setting. Patients are also screened for eligibility to participate in clinical trials.
Interlakes Oncology and Hematology Interlakes Oncology and Hematology is a regional organization providing treatment for cancer patients and those with blood disorders. Interlakes has six offices conveniently located throughout Rochester and its surrounding areas. We are committed to providing state-of-the-art, compassionate care to patients as close to their homes as possible. The physicians and staff have been leaders in this community for over 20 years. They were first to bring innovative anticancer drugs, blood cell stimulants, anti nausea medications and other technology to this area, including performing the first bone marrow transplant in the greater Rochester area.
The physicians are also among the most highly trained in the country and have been trained at institutions such as Harvard, The Mayo Clinic, Memorial Sloan Kettering, the National Institutes of Health and the University of Rochester. Our staff focuses on the overall well-being of the patient, providing support through their expertise and care.
