All visitors should stop at the Main Information Desk in the front lobby. Room numbers will be given out to visitors as long as permission has been given by the patient to be included in our patient directory. If you have asked not to be included in the patient directory, we cannot give your room number to anyone, including florists or clergy members.
Doors to the main Hospital entrance are locked at 8:30 p.m. Anyone who needs to enter the Hospital after that time must use the Emergency Center entrance.
Remember that most patients tire easily. Extended visits and too many visitors at one time can wear them out. Please use your discretion.
Visiting Hours Visiting hours for general medical/surgical units are 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Visitors to the Birthing Center need to check with the nursing staff about limitations. Only siblings of newborns under the age of 5 will be allowed. No other children under the age of 5 allowed.
Other units have different hours and you will need to check with the nursing staff on that unit.
We encourage you to call the unit to inquire about your loved one, but ask that inquiries are restricted to one spokesperson. We also ask that calls be avoided between 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. so that the information can be communicated by the appropriate nurse or staff member after shift change.
