The federal Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has invited Thompson Health’s Director of Health Information Management and Utilization Management to serve on one of its advisory panels.

Thompson Health Vice President of Finance Mark Prunoske has announced the appointment of three new directors within the health system: Director of Patient Financial Services/Patient Access, Director of Finance and Director of Reimbursement.

Healthcare Trustees of New York State (HTNYS) presented its two signature honors, recognizing Louis Heimbach of Orange Regional Medical Center (ORMC), with the 2008 Trustee Leadership Award, and Ellie Fralick of Thompson Health with the 2008 Trustee Advocacy Award. The awards were presented at the HTNYS Annual Conference in Bolton Landing.

Robert Carlson of Henrietta has been named the Director of Practice Management and Occupational Health for Thompson Health.

Nancy Alexander of Canandaigua has been named Director of Rehabilitation Services for Thompson Health. A physical therapist and certified strength and conditioning specialist, Alexander has been with Thompson for nine years.
