O’Malley, MD, director of the Bariatric Surgery Center at UR Medicine’s Highland Hospital, will provide an overview of the types of weight-loss surgery available to patients who are least 100 pounds overweight; have a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or more; or have a BMI of 35 or more and are experiencing obesity-related health conditions.
