The Compliance Office is the place to bring concerns relating to fraud or abuse, breach of patient privacy or confidentiality, inaccurate billing of services, conflicts of interest, or violations of information system security, professional practice standards or business ethics.
Attentive Thompson Health Associates, volunteers, contractors, medical staff and patients are the key to identifying risk areas or potential fraud. This program maintains both an open-door policy and an Compliance Hotline for these parties to share their concern about whether a practice is proper and/or ethical and to request an ethics consult.
