Use the Compliance Hotline – available 24/7 – to report a concern about improper or unethical behavior that you believe could jeopardize the integrity of the institution, including suspected violations of federal or state regulations. Caller indentity will remain confidential in accordance with Thompson Health policay and callers are protected under the Thompson Health non-Intimidation/Non-Retailiation Policy.
Reports may also be submitted online. These reports may be made confidentially and anonymously, if preferred. You will receive a report number to reference for follow up. Reports are reviewed, investigated and documented through an independent service, working with the Compliance Office.
The Compliance Office is the place to bring concerns relating to fraud or abuse, breach of patient privacy or confidentiality, inaccurate billing of services, conflicts of interest, or violations of information system security, professional practice standards or business ethics.
A patient ethics consult may also be requested through the Compliance Office.

Attentive Thompson Health associates are the key to identifying risk areas or potential fraud. This program maintains both an open-door policy and an Integrity Helpline for Associates to share their concern about whether a practice is proper and/or ethical. Associates may also speak with their supervisor or manager, or contact the Chief Compliance Officer, a Compliance Office Analyst/Educator, or the Medical Center Counsel's Office (585-758-7600). Reports may be made anonymously to the Integrity Hotline.
