Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and Thompson Health are working together to provide more education to women about breast cancer screening and early detection. A $2,500 grant from Excellus will help Thompson Health acquire additional patient education materials for its Breast Health Patient Navigation Program.

The 12th Annual Yarger Memorial Golf Scramble was held on Saturday, June 13 at the Victor Hills Golf Course in Victor. The event drew 132 golfers and raised $11,000 for Thompson Health’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program.

The 11th Annual Sands Cancer Center Golf Classic was held on Monday, June 8 at Bristol Harbour Golf Club in Canandaigua. The tournament raised more than $30,000 for the Sands Cancer Center.

The 5th Annual Margery Pawluk Golf Scramble was held on Friday, June 5 at Reservoir Creek Golf Club in Naples. The event raised more than $8,000 for the Margery Pawluk Cancer Patient Needs Fund at the Sands Cancer Center.

In keeping with Mary Clark Thompson's spirit of community-minded philanthropy, the F.F. Thompson Foundation has established a Community Health Grants Program that enables the Foundation to directly invest in projects and organizations that enhance the health of the community.
