CANANDAIGUA – UR Medicine Thompson Health, in partnership with the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC) and the Canandaigua Family YMCA, administered more than 50 vaccines at its recent free flu clinic for the uninsured and underinsured. 

CANANDAIGUA – Kim Tenreiro will give a special performance of his acclaimed one-man enactment of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25, at the First Congregational Church, 58 N. Main St., Canandaigua.

CANANDAIGUA – The 14th annual Tour de Thompson raised more than $3,100 for Rehabilitation Services patients of UR Medicine Thompson Health, bringing the total amount generated by the annual event to over $42,000.

CANANDAIGUA – A new support group recently launched at Thompson Hospital to assist mothers struggling with a mood and/or anxiety disorder that occurs during pregnancy, or after the birth of a new baby.

CANANDAIGUA – Michele A. Cone of Geneseo was recently named director of nursing for the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center at UR Medicine’s Thompson Health and the center’s medical adult day program, The Brighter Day.
