CANANDAIGUA – The General Surgery Department at UR Medicine’s Thompson Health will offer a Hernia Screening Clinic on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Constellation Center for Health and Healing,
located at Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St. in Canandaigua.

Ferris Hills to Host Community Bridge Party Sept. 23

CANANDAIGUA - Ferris Hills at West Lake is hosting a community bridge party on Friday, Sept. 23.

A buffet luncheon will be served starting at 11:30 a.m., followed by a bridge game from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

CANANDAIGUA – Ferris Hills at West Lake, the independent living community at 1 Ferris Hills in Canandaigua, will host “Casino Night” on Friday, Sept. 30, to benefit the UR Medicine Thompson Health Senior Living Team’s contribution to the upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

VICTOR — The 2016 Pink Fly Classic Ladies’ Golf Tournament, held June 4 at the Victor Hills Golf Club, raised approximately $11,400 for the Breast Health Navigation Program offered by UR Medicine’s Thompson Health.

Scenic Bicycle Tour Raises $3,200 for Patients

CANANDAIGUA – The 14th annual Tour de Thompson, held July 30, raised approximately $3,200 for Rehabilitation Services’ Aftercare Program at UR Medicine’s Thompson Health.

More than 75 riders took part in the bicycle tour offering scenic views of Canandaigua Lake, Honeoye Lake and the Bristol hills. Ranging in age from 27 to 73, they hailed from 33 ZIP codes.
