Thompson Health Awarded Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health

Thompson Health recently received a Gold Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America.

With Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum recognition levels, the Seal recognizes employers striving to create mentally healthy workplaces.

Only 1 in 4 employers meet the standards for certification. In order to achieve Gold, Thompson underwent a rigorous evaluation of its policies and practices in four areas: workplace culture, benefits, compliance, and wellness programs.

Among the initiatives Thompson highlighted were its Mental Health First Aid training, success coaching, and department-specific “Circles of Care,” as well as a host of wellness programs and opportunities to connect with others.

“We are extremely proud of the hard work our Associate Wellness, Associate Services, and Spiritual Care teams put into making sure Thompson Health provides the tools and resources our associates need in order to ensure they feel supported amd comfortable reaching out for help if they are struggling with their mental health,” said Thompson Health Vice President of Associate Services/Wellness Jennifer DeVault. “Receiving this award is a validation of all this hard work and lets us know we are on the right track.”
