Thompson Welcomes Gastroenterology Practice
The year got off to an auspicious start as a longtime Canandaigua gastroenterology practice joined Thompson Health.
Thompson Health Gastroenterology, located at 3170 West St. Suite 201 in Canandaigua, is the renamed former practice established in 2000 by Dr. Raymond M. Thomas.
Thomas, who has had privileges at F.F. Thompson Hospital since 1995, is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with specialty certification in gastroenterology and hepatology. He is a graduate of the University of Rochester who did his residency, internship, and fellowship at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
The doctor is joined at Thompson Health Gastroenterology by:
- Adult Nurse Practitioner Lisa Kessel. Kessel is a graduate of St. John Fisher University in Rochester who received her Master of Science from the University of Rochester. She is board certified as an adult nurse practitioner.
- Gerontological Nurse Practitioner Louise Linke. Linke is a graduate of Elmhurst University in Illinois who received her master’s degree at Nazareth University in Rochester. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
- Adult Nurse Practitioner Allison VanPutte. VanPutte received her bachelor’s from Syracuse University and her master’s from the University of Rochester. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
