Targets individuals managing back pain who wish to improve strength and endurance.


Boosting core strength helps:

  • Protect back and neck
  • Prevent future injury/strain
  • Improve posture
  • Improve balance
  • Lessen reliance on pain meds

Offering classes on select Monday Evenings and Tuesday Mornings

Monday evening from 6-7 p.m.

Tuesdays morning from 7-8 a.m.

Carrie Phelps, ATC, PTA

Carrie is a NYS Certified Physical Therapist Assistant, National Athletic Trainer Association Certified Athletic Trainer and has been practicing at Thompson Health for 3 years. She graduated from Kent State University Ashtabula with an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with Concentration in Exercise Science from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is interested in treating injured athletes with special interest in treating hips and knees.
